PBs galore for our super fish
GATTON Swimming Club hosted the Multi Distance meet on November 19 with smaller crowds not stopping the competitors from having a brilliant day.
Gatton Swimming Club had a strong representation, with all competitors gaining at least one personal best (PB).
Harry Stibbard swam three PBs with a four second improvement on his 50m freestyle.
Tyler Shephard enjoyed his first carnival with three PBs in freestyle, backstroke and breaststroke.
Katcheeya Burns had a great swim, taking 32.19 seconds off her previous time in 50m breaststroke.
Leah Love improved on her 50m backstroke by 10.01 seconds.
Page Pearce came second in the 50m backstroke.
Kate McNeil had a tremendous day taking out first place for 50m breaststroke.
Cailtin Nolan also had two firsts (50m freestyle and 50m butterfly) and big brother Daniel Nolan had a second in 200m IM.
Matthew Olive had another great day with a first in 50m backstroke and 200m backstroke.
Gabby Bendell had a third in the 200m butterfly, with a time of 4.05.55s.
Andrew Macpherson had two firsts, in the 100m breaststroke and 50m breaststroke.
Bonnie O'Mullane had a great day with two thirds in 50m freestyle (30.54s) and 50m breaststroke (38.69s).
Jessica Reinhardt had a huge day with three firsts, 50m freestyle (28.69s), 200m butterfly (2.31.49s) and 50m butterfly (28.04s) and two seconds in the 50m breaststroke (36.68s) and 50m backstroke (34.64s).
