BEATLEMANIACS will be unimpressed.

During a question and answer session on Twitter, former Beatle Paul McCartney has described a gig by Kanye West and Jay-Z to be be among the best ever.

The hero of modern music hung around on Twitter as fans tossed questions at him through the #askPaul hashtag.

In August, it was reported that Kanye -- who recently completed the Australian leg of his Yeezus tour -- was working on a track with McCartney called P--- on my Grave.

After the whir of excitement and confusion, there have been no new updates on the collaboration.

In other surprising news from the Twitter Q&A, McCartney reveals he has twerked with Katy Perry, "She was rather good at it!"

The legendary half of McCartney/Lennon songwriting duo also said he takes about an hour to get ready before gigs.

There is also a routine "huddle with the band "that gets us psyched up and ready to roll" he said.
