Packers move on as Rodgers helps down Cowboys

GREEN Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers completed 24 of 35 passes for 317 yards, including three touchdowns, as the Packers came from behind to beat the Dallas Cowboys 26-21 in Wisconsin.

Whether Rodgers can replicate the effort in next weekend's NFC Championship decider against the Seahawks in Seattle is another matter entirely.

The 31-year-old (pictured) struggled with a strained left calf against the Cowboys, and will face even more defensive pressure from the Super Bowl champions.

The AFC Championship match will see the New England Patriots host arch rival Indianapolis in Boston after the Colts shut down veteran playmaker Peyton Manning to beat the Broncos 24-13 in Denver.

Colts quarterback Andrew Luck clearly took the points against the soon-to-be 39-year-old Manning, raising serious questions about whether the Broncos can win a Super Bowl with the veteran calling the shots.
