One woman dead after car leaves, rolls off country road

A WOMAN has died after a serious crash in Normanton in the state's far north.

Emergency services were called to the crash on the Burke Development Rd about 6pm Sunday after the woman's car left the road and rolled.

The 50-year-old woman, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, was declared dead at the scene.

Police are investigating the crash.
