UPDATE: The Queensland Police Service have located an 18-month-old girl who was abducted from Rosewood a short time ago in New South Wales.

Police would like to thank the media and the public for their assistance.


THE QUEENSLAND Police Service is seeking urgent public assistance to help locate a 18-month-old girl who was taken from around three hours ago who may be at significant risk.

The baby was last seen at an address in Rosewood this morning when she was taken by a woman known to her.

Police believe she was either in a small white Hyundai i30 with unknown New South Wales registration plates or black Subaru Impreza.

It is also believed that the woman may be in the company of two other men in another one of the above vehicles.

The girl is Caucasian in appearance, with blonde hair.

It is believed they may be in or travelling into New South Wales.
