New Lowood bypass road

SOMERSET Regional Council has opened the new Lindemans Road in Lowood as a through road to allow heavy traffic travelling north of Lowood to bypass the Lowood CBD and take pressure off clogged State-controlled roads through the fast-growing town.

The new $320,000 road also directly links Lowood Industrial Estate to Foresthill-Fernvale Road for the first time, allowing manufacturers in the Industrial Estate better access to markets.
