New horizons for new Pastor

PASTOR Carl Thiele was installed into the Rosewood district Lutheran Parish on Sunday, April 3, at Zion Lutheran Church, Minden.

Representing Queensland District President Noel Noak, Pastor Paul Thiele conducted the Service and the Rite of Installation.

He was assisted by Pastor Christian Fandrich, from Toowoomba (a former classmate from Australian Lutheran College) and local Pastors Matthew Schultz from Lowood and Noel Burton from Lockyer Valley Parish.

Members from Rosewood, Rosevale and Minden congregations, which are part of the Parish, attended the service along with visitors from other Parishes in the District, members of other churches in the area and Pastor Carl's family members from both Brisbane and interstate.

After the service refreshments were served and members were able to meet and welcome Carl and his wife, Krista, personally.

Pastor Carl and Krista are now happily settling into the Rosewood district and look forward to getting to know the community.
