National Seniors hope to help

ALBANY Creek National Seniors President, Mary Hughes, has presented shoe boxes filled with toiletries to Betty Green, the Lockyer Valley President.

These were distributed to Grantham and surrounding areas.

There was also a substantial donation of $1000 from the Paradise Point National Seniors donated to the Grantham Flood Appeal.

Secretary of the Lockyer Valley Branch, Joyce Ridgeway, said the generosity was appreciated and the group thanked these branches for thinking of the needy in times like these.

Lockyer Valley National Seniors meet on the first Friday of the month at the Gatton Bowls Club.
