Mystery Maroochydore shooting: Gunshot wounds reported

BREAKING: Police and ambulance officers are headed to a Sixth Ave, Maroochydore property, after reports of a person suffering multiple gunshot wounds.

Ambulance officers were told the bizarre shooting happened within the last 24 hours, and the wounds had become infected, prompting the call for medical assistance.

A Queensland Police Service spokesman confirmed they were attending the scene after ambulance officers reported the incident, but it would take some time to investigate the reported shooting.
