Motherhood is an exclusive club
WHY can't women be more supportive instead of taking sides over the methods of motherhood?
Please, spare me the motherhood clubs.
"Motherhood's a club," another parent told me before my daughter was born.
She wore the wolfish smile of a woman eager to bond through misfortune, like a cell mate or crash survivor.
I instinctively shrank away. I felt very Groucho Marx about this club.
As it turns out, motherhood is many clubs.
