Morayfield school damaged by fire

POLICE say a Morayfield school was damaged by fire last night and the incident is being treated as suspicious.

Just after 9pm, Emergency Services were called to the Glenwood Drive address following reports of flames coming from a demountable classroom and an industrial bin at the gates to the school.

The classroom was destroyed in the blaze.

A crime scene has been declared as investigators work to determine the cause of the fire.
