Meninga wraps up year with talk

HE'S known for leading the mighty Maroons to victory but next month legendary coach Mal Meninga will be the guest speaker at a Rockhampton business dinner.

Meninga will entertain guests with stories of leadership and triumph as Queensland's most successful State of Origin coach, and discuss his transition from sporting icon to company director.

Australian Institute of Company Directors Queensland state manager Richard Moore said this event was an excellent way to wrap up the 2011 Australian Institute of Company Directors events program.

"This will be a fantastic opportunity for business leaders to network, reflect on their experience gained throughout the year and discuss what 2012 has in store," Mr Moore said.

"2011 has seen substantial membership growth for Australian Institute of Company Directors in the Central Queensland region due to the calibre of guest speakers and professional development opportunities provided," he said.
