Master Plan ideas arrive

IDEAS and suggestions provided by residents who attended last Saturday's community workshop on the Draft Lake Apex Master Plan will be taken into consideration in the development of the final plan.

Lockyer Valley Mayor Steve Jones said those who attended the workshop in the Lockyer Valley Cultural Centre had taken the opportunity to speak directly with consultants about the Draft Plan.

“The consultants have advised they received some very valuable feedback, which they will be taking into account when they finalise the plan,” Cr Jones said.

“Community feedback still is being sought and this also will be taken into consideration by the consultants.

“Residents have until 5pm on Friday, August 5 to make comments and submissions and I would urge all those who are interested in the future of this community to have their say.”

The Draft Plan also is available on-line at Council's website at
