THEY have already lost Bevan French, now the Eels could be without Manu Ma'u for their blockbuster clash with Brisbane.

Ma'u has been hit with a grade-one shoulder charge for a hit on Ashley Taylor in Thursday night's win over the Titans.

He faces a one-week ban with an early guilty plea. Ma'u would miss two matches if he fought the charge at the NRL judiciary and lost.

Parramatta will also likely be without fullback French, who left the field after 36 minutes on his return from a hamstring injury.

In some good news for the Eels, five-eighth Corey Norman has declared he'll be right for next week's crucial clash with the Broncos despite a groin injury.
