Manchester United fighting to reclaim coveted FA Cup crown

MANCHESTER United has won the world's oldest cup competition, the FA Cup, a record 11 times, but it hasn't won it since beating Millwall at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium in 2004.

United's last FA Cup final appearance was in 2007, when it lost to Chelsea in injury time - now it might have a shot at revenge against the Blues.

The Red Devils moved into the last eight of the competition on Tuesday morning (AEST) after beating Reading 2-1 at Old Trafford.

Nani and Javier Hernandez scored the goals to earn United a quarter-final showdown against the winner of the Chelsea and Middlesbrough tie.
