Man suffers serious facial injuries after bull attack

A MAN has been rushed to Toowoomba Hospital after he was attacked by a bull in the Western Downs.

The man in his 50s was loading cattle onto the back of his truck north of Tara at 11.45am today when one of the bulls charged the gate.

The gate swung around and slammed into the man's face, causing serious facial injuries.

Paramedics treated the man before the Toowoomba-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue flew him to hospital in a stable condition.
