Man suffers head, spinal injuries in creek incident

A MAN was airlifted to Brisbane after suffering head and spinal injuries after riding the rapids of Quart Pot Creek in Stanthorpe yesterday afternoon.

It is believed the man in his mid 20s went underwater in the creek that runs through Stanthorpe.

He was airlifted to the PA Hospital by RACQ CareFlight in a stable condition.
