Man suffers chest, leg injuries as motorbike collides with car

UPDATE: The male motorcyclist has been taken to hospital with a serious leg injury and chest injuries after colliding with a car.

Paramedics rushed to the intersection of Currie St and Maud St, Nambour, and treated the man for chest abrasions and the leg injury before taking him to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.  

BREAKING: A motorcycle rider has suffered chest and leg injuries after colliding with a car on a busy main street. 

Paramedics rushed to the intersection of Currie St and Maud St at Nambour, after the 000 call about 9.15am. 

On scene, they assessed the male rider, and found he had sustained a minor chest injury and leg injury.

The man will be taken to hospital shortly.
