Drink driver caught by police twice in one night

ONE interception by police wasn't enough for a 37-year-old drink-driver in Gladstone at the weekend.

The man was picked up on Hanson Rd, Gladstone at 2.30am, allegedly recording a reading of 0.163%.

The same man was intercepted by police on the same road three hours later, with a reading of 0.109%.

He will face court at a later date.

A 58-year-old woman was caught on Glenlyon Rd, Gladstone at 9am on Saturday.

She recorded a blood alcohol content of 0.137%.

At 7am on Sunday Gladstone police were conducting random breath testing on Glenlyon Rd.

A 44-year-old man allegedly returned a BAC of 0.087%. All offenders will appear in court at a later date.
