UPDATE: A 25-year-old man has been taken to a Brisbane facility following an electric shock last night.
The man remains in a critical condition with burns to his chest, arms and abdomen.
He also suffered some internal bleeding and a leg injury.
EARLIER: A man is in a critical condition after suffering an electric shock.
According to the Queensland Ambulance Service, the man, in his 20s, sustained burns in the incident.
Paramedics tended to the man on McLean St at 9.18pm yesterday.
