Man found with steroids in car at Mackay Harbour

A RANDOM vehicle intercept by Mackay police has resulted in a man being charged with steroid possession

Police allege that at 1.10 am yesterday, a vehicle was stopped on Harbour Road in the area of Mackay Harbour.

After a conversation with the driver, the vehicle was searched by officers. Police say they found a steroid was located in the centre console.

A 24-year-old  Alexandra man was charged with unlawful possession of a dangerous drug. He will appear in the Mackay Magistrates Court on July 7.
