Man fined for kicking cop in the crotch


MACKAY man Luke Nicholas Bates has been fined $350 after kicking a police officer in the crotch.
Bates was not in court so the assualt, which occured during an arrest on July 22, was dealt with in his absence.
He was given two months to pay the fine and had a conviction recorded.
Two male police officers were assaulted in the arrest.
