Man drives on after having throat slashed in Bardon attack

A MAN who was cut across the throat in a car managed to drive in to find help in Bardon on Wednesday night.

Police said that Just before 10pm, the 39-year-old victim was in a car in Leworthy Street when he was attacked by a man who was also in the car.

The offender has then left the vehicle and the victim has driven a short distance into Boundry Road before stopping and seeking help.

The man was treated at the scene by ambulance officers and rushed to the Royal Brisbane Hospital.

His injuries are considered serious but non-life threatening.

Investigations into the assault continue.
