Man dies after explosion

A 66-YEAR--old Plainland man has died at the Royal Brisbane Hospital after being injured during a car explosion at Laidley last Thursday.

Around 9.45am, the man was working on a vehicle alone at a private Plainland, address when it exploded.

No one else was physically injured during this incident.

Police will prepare a report for the coroner on the incident.
