A man has been airlifted to a Brisbane hospital following a fall near Atkinson Dam this morning.
The 24-year-old man, who fell about two and a half metres onto concrete, was airlifted to hospital early this morning by the Gold Coast RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter.
The man suffered suspected head and spinal injuries from the fall, which occurred at a cattle farm property about 15 kilometres north west of Atkinson Dam in the Buaraba area.
He was treated at the scene by CareFlight's critical care doctor and flight paramedic and was flown to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition.
Authorities have not yet released a name.
