Man, 20, pronounced dead at scene of crash at Anstead

A MAN has died following a fatal single vehicle traffic crash on Sugars Road in Anstead yesterday evening.

Initial investigations suggest at around 6:30am a vehicle travelling along Sugars Road has left the road before colliding with a fence and a tree.

A 20-year-old male passenger was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The 21-year-old male driver from Anstead was transported to Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital for treatment of a laceration to his head.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
