Mackay woman on break and enter, fraud, wilful damage charges

A SOUTH Mackay woman facing break and enter, burglary, fraud, tainted property and wilful damage charges has fronted court from prison.

Camelia Jane-Lee Stansfield, 21, appeared in Mackay Magistrates Court via videolink on Wednesday.

She was represented by Antoinette Morton, of Fisher Dore Lawyers.

Asked by Magistrate Damien Dwyer to confirm if she'd been locked up for drug matters, Stanfield replied "I had a little bit of bud (marijuana), your honour".

Mr Dwyer advised "loose lips sink ships - don't make admissions".

Stansfield, who has not entered pleas, wanted to apply for bail on some charges.

A hearing was set down for November 6.
