FOUR-YEAR-OLD Logan Andersen was a fighter to the end, a boy with a big heart tragically lost too soon.

Logan was leaving the Kingpin Bowling Alley in Kirwan with family about 12.15pm on Wednesday when he wandered out between cars and was hit by a vehicle in the carpark.

He died in Townsville Hospital yesterday morning surrounded by his family and friends after succumbing to his injuries.

Logan's mother Lauren Grieve yesterday said her son was a loving and caring little boy.

"He was just a handsome, charming, engaging boy," she said.
