Lockyer school’s culture wonders

CULTURAL Awards was held at the Lockyer District High School on Friday, October 23.

Awards were given to talented students who have achieved at an excellent standard in music, drama, choir, band, film and television and other related subjects.

The theme of the night was ‘Disney’ so it was amusing to dress up as Disney characters.

From Jenna Lee (Cultural Captain) as Tinkerbell to half of the Scooby-Doo gang dressed up by Amy and Katie Hauser and Kelsey Mundt, it was fun to watch how far the students’ imaginations could go.

The night ran smoothly with the cultural captains, Jenna, Nick, Krystal and Joel as MCs.

Entertainment for the night was the fantastic school dance troupe performing a tribute to Michael Jackson; the school choir sang and Lucas Bird and Tiah Rose performed a solo.
