Linville man charged with unlawful wounding

Police have charged a man with unlawful wounding following investigations into an alleged altercation involving two men at Moore yesterday morning.

It will be alleged around 6.15am on Sunday, two men, one armed with an arrowhead, were involved in a physical altercation on Linville Road resulting in a 62-year-old man receiving a stab wound to his chest.

The 62-year-old man from Kilcoy was transported to Caboolture Hospital for treatment. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

A 38-year-old Linville man has been charged with unlawful wounding and is due to appear in the Caboolture Magistrates Court on February 25.
