Laidley rebuild for new year

AFTER dropping out of the Ipswich Rugby League (IRL) competition in 2009 the Laidley based club will field a second division side and an under 18s side this season.

Club spokesman, Len Moyle, said the club had good numbers for the second division side already which is a promising start, but the club was still looking for more players.

Len urged all under 18s to attend training sessions so the club had a better idea of what numbers they had with the under 18s side.

Training sessions are held at the Laidley Rec Reserve at 7pm on Tuesday and Thursday nights.

Len said anyone wishing to play rugby league in the IRL competition should come along and play for their local club based at the Laidley Rec Reserve.

Anyone wanting further information should contact Len on 0413 654 413.
