A little thought goes a long way

AS THE son of a jewellery-store owner, Liam Dunn believes he has a special insight into what women want.

And with Mother’s Day this weekend, Mr Dunn hopes to inspire once-hopeless sons to impress their mums on Sunday.

Mr Dunn’s mum, Lannah Dunn, is well-known among jewellery-lovers in Toowoomba.

“Selecting the ideal Mother’s Day present can be much more demanding and scary for us males, especially when our mothers mean so much to us,” Mr Dunn said.

“Always listen to what your mother says and this is certainly true when it comes to trying to choose a present that she will love.

“Chocolates and flowers are always appreciated by mums — it shows that you have actually thought about the day and the importance behind it.

“When you want to up the game a little, a gift that carries more sentiment makes for a present your mum will cherish.

“And you will be in the good books for a long time.”

Not surprisingly, jewellery is on the list of Mr Dunn’s ideal gifts for Mother’s Day.

“Jewellery is a constant reminder that you reciprocated all her efforts with a special token of gratitude.”
