Ian Anderson brings best of Jethro Tull to Oz in December

JETHRO Tull's Ian Anderson will tour Australia in December.

The rock singer/songwriter and flautist will perform the band's iconic 1972 concept album Thick As A Brick, as well as songs from best-of album Thick As A Brick 2.

Anderson will play the Sydney Opera House on December 11, the QPAC Concert Hall in Brisbane on December 13 and Melbourne's Palais Theatre on December 15.

This year Anderson celebrates 46 years as an international recording artist, with Jethro Tull's worldwide record sales topping 50 million.

Pre-sale tickets from My Live Nation go on sale on Wednesday, with general tickets on sale on June 23.
