Injuries after semi-trailer and B-double collide

A TRUCK driver is fighting for life after a serious crash at Lytton, east of Brisbane, last night.

Emergency crews were called to Port Drive about 9.20pm after a semi-trailer and a B-double crashed into each other.

A 58-year-old man, one of the truck drivers, received life threatening injuries and was rushed to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition.

The other driver was also taken to the PA Hospital, with non-life threatening injuries.

Port Drive near the Port of Brisbane Motorway off ramp has been closed for hours as a result.

The Forensic Crash Unit is still investigating the incident.
