Hundreds of jobs may go at Vodafone

VODAFONE Australia workers face a tense month after the telecommunications company announced plans to cut at least 500 jobs by the end of November.

Office roles are set to be the first to go as part of a massive restructure.

Company CEO Bill Morrow accepted there would be challenges ahead but said every dollar saved would be prioritised towards improving customer service and network coverage.
