Humans win in epic robot ping pong battle

IN AN epic battle between a man and robot on ping-pong table, humanity emerged victorious.

German robotics firm KUKA released footage that showed European table-tennis master Timo Boll waging war against KUKA's "KR Agilus" robot.

According to the company, it was a fight to celebrate "the inherent speed, precision, and flexibility of KUKA's industrial robots in tandem with Boll's electrifying and tactical prowess in competition".

Although considered to be a tough match for the German champion, Boll bested his metallic enemy with a dramatic final shot that bounced the ball beyond the reach of its hydraulic arm.
