THE Socceroos will have a tough battle on their hands when they head to Brazil for the FIFA World Cup.

Coach Ange Postecoglou has named a very young and inexperienced squad, but has been open about his plans to use this World Cup to blood the young players ahead of next year's Asian Cup, and building up to the 2018 World Cup.
