High tea on an ocean-liner

WHAT'S more lovely, genteel and indulgent than sitting down for a leisurely afternoon high tea? Doing it in a beautiful setting while sailing on an ocean-liner.

Soon Australians will be able to enjoy the old world experience of daintily-prepared tasty morsels served in elegant three tiered trays, in a graceful and unique setting for the perfect high tea experience.

Guests on board the highest rated superliner based regionally, Celebrity Century, will be able to savour Champagne High Tea as Century sails local waters during her Australasian season.

Held in the elegant specialty restaurants onboard, guests can enjoy the authentic high tea experience while listening to live music performed by a string quartet.

Delectable selections include premium Forte’ teas; Lavazza coffees, including espressos, lattes and cappuccino; as well as savoury sandwiches and desserts – including pastries, scones, truffles and pate de fruit – all served on Wedgewood china and in Riedel Crystal.

Celebrity’s Champagne High Tea cover charge of US$25 per person includes all culinary selections and a glass of champagne.
