Here comes the rain again? Radar shows huge belt of clouds

AN ENORMOUS belt of clouds is making its way across the lower half of Queensland and northern NSW, with areas from Coffs to Rockhampton showing potential for rain.

The 512km composite radar at Marburg shows the largest concentration of activity over northern NSW, with the worst heading to Point Danger.

Caloundra, Kingaroy, Gympie, and Harvey Bay look to be next in the cloud bank's path.

BOM also issued a marine wind warning for the Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast, with an update expected around 3:50 pm EST today.

The Burnett River is expected to see minor to moderate flood levels downstream to Walla across the weekend with the same to continue along the upper Burnett River to Munduberra.

Flood levels along the Kolan River and Baffle Creek are easing as well, with the Bucca Weir at 18.26 metres and falling.

The minor flood levels along the Mary River are expected to subside over the coming days with no further rain expected in the area.
