Hell on the Gateway Mwy as traffic backs up 18km

IF you're heading through Brisbane today, we have some bad news.

A mulitple-vehicle crash has created an traffic snarl on the Gateway Mwy's northbound lanes is now stretching for 18km.

At least two cars appear to be involved, judging by photographs published by Brisbane traffic reporter Penny Dahl.
