THE ABC unveiled a raft of new shows at its 2015 program launch this week.
But despite plenty of interesting new content, it's a returning show that I'm most excited about.
After a year on hiatus, Gruen Planet will return to our screens next year.
Sharp-witted Aussie comedian Wil Anderson, who has been taking the international comedy circuits by storm this year, hosts the show, which delves into everything "spin".
And his two regular panellists, the seemingly diametrically opposed Todd Sampson (ABC's Redesign My Brain) and Channel 10's executive general manager Russel Howcroft, will also return to steer the weekly commentary with the help of special guests.
The series originally started on the ABC as the advertising-focused The Gruen Transfer in 2008 but has since expanded to include all types of branding, marketing, political spin and even the 2012 London Olympics.
What I love about Gruen is that it so perfectly balances smart, engaging content with humour.
The show and its stars never talk down to the viewer or dumb down their analysis of the ads and spin Aussies are constantly bombarded with.
I think it pays to know how and when companies are trying to influence you and Gruen is educational on that level while also celebrating the best creativity the ad industry has to offer.
The Pitch segment, when two Aussie ad firms are given the chance to "sell the unsellable", is a particular highlight.
Plus you know any show that offers up a "Brown Logie" award isn't taking itself too seriously.
I can't wait to see how the show tackles things like Miley Cyrus's twerking and tongue-wagging career reboot and actor Matthew McConaughey's bizarre Lincoln car ads when it returns.
