A MAN who believes homosexuality is a mental disorder to be given Greens votes ahead of an Indigenous, gay man as preference deals again leave Australians scratching their head.
The Indigenous man is Geoffrey Winters, who will be put last on the party's how-to vote card because he's a Liberal.
By doing so, the Greens are suggesting the Christan Democratic Party candidate Ula Falanga is a better option.
Liberal candidate Geoffrey Winters is a native-title claim lawyer.
Greens candidate for Sydney Syvie Ellsmore told Fairfax the decision was made to fight a Labor claim that it might preference the Liberals.
The CDP is led by Reverend Fred Nile, who has long protested the gay and lesbian Mardi Gras.
Rev Nile's party also pledges to "defend the definition of marriage" against those who fight to allow same-sex marriage.
His party put out a statement in relation to the Orlando shooting while killed more than 50, by quoting Donald Trump's stance on "radical Islam".
Rev Nile's views also seem at odd's with the Greens' position on asylum seekers and immigration.
In the same statement on the American tragedy, Rev Nile wrote:

We are told to value a free, open and accepting society, but also told to admit in those that we know do not subscribe to that which made us who we are.
This is reality. The fruit of Sharia Law is plain to see.
He has previously accused Labor's Penny Wong of "promoting their lesbian lifestyle" when she announced she had a child with her partner.
Meanwhile Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull said the Greens would be put beneath Labor on its how-to vote cards, although not necessarily last.
