Grease is the word!

AFTER months of rehearsals, Faith Lutheran College's performance of the much loved musical Grease is here.

From July 21 to 23 at the Laidley Cultural Centre, students of the College will exhibit their tremendous talents.

Curriculum co-ordinator Tyson Kenny said he is excited about the upcoming shows.

“Whether it is their singing, dancing or acting, these are some of the most gifted performers I've ever had the privilege of working with,” Mr Kenny said.

“The students can't wait for the performances, but perhaps none more than the special primary schools' performance taking place next Wednesday.

“The College invited all local primary schools in the district to attend the final dress rehearsal.

“The response has been incredible.”

He said they have around 400 primary school students from the district attending this performance.

“These students come from eight schools in the region, and we're still awaiting confirmation from a few others,” he said.

Tickets have been selling fast for the four public performances, so people are urged to act quickly.

Tickets cost $10 each and can be pre-purchased from the College office or at the door.

The performances of Grease take place on July 21, 22 and 23 at the Laidley Cultural Centre starting at 7pm each night, and also a Saturday matinee at 2pm.
