Girl, 8, attacked in schoolgrounds by child predator

AN eight-year-old girl has been attacked in the grounds of a Victorian school by a man who dragged her into a secluded area, kicked her and undid her uniform top.

Investigators have been told an eight-year-old girl was approached by an unknown man in the grounds of the school on Manningtree Road around 3.30pm last Thursday.

The man dragged the girl into a secluded area where he verbally assaulted and kicked her before undoing her uniform top.

The girl managed to get away from the man, who then fled through the front exit of the school.

The little girl received minor injuries which did not require hospital treatment.

Police, who only released information about the drama on Tuesday, are investigating and have released a FACE image of the man they wish to speak to in relation to the incident.

He was perceived to be Caucasian in appearance and aged in his 20s with blue eyes and short, blonde hair which was shaved/cropped on one side.

He was wearing black pants, a black hoodie and Van brand sneakers with red stripes.
