Gina Rinehart quits Network Ten board

MINING magnate Gina Rinehart resigned has resigned from the Channel Ten board, to focus on new Western Australian project Roy Hill.

A statement from Ten to the stock exchange showed Ms Rinehart had nominated colleague John Klepec to replace her on the media company's board.

Mr Klepec had already attended meetings in her stead.

Ms Rinehart will move her focus more firmly to the $10 billion Roy Hill iron ore mine.
