BEAUTY and the Geek's geniuses are pretty chuffed with their makeovers, although it was hard to hear their reactions at times over all the high-pitched screaming.

In the reality show's penultimate episode, geeks Tate, James, Nick and Alexander were primped and preened from head to toe including haircuts, spray tans and some much-needed facial hair grooming.

The makeovers followed Oliver's dramatic, Justin-Timberlake transformation last week.

The four young men proved they can clean up pretty well and the transformation of one in particular left the beauties speechless.

Engineering student and cat lover Tate won a $5000 international modelling contract with Aussie Bum underwear thanks to his makeover.

The 21-year-old started trending on Twitter shortly after his makeover was revealed.

"This is by far one of the biggest nights in my life," he said.

"I'm looking at the mirror and I'm not seeing Tate."

His team mate Emily couldn't hide her excitement about the grooming of his overgrown eyebrows.

"The eyebrows, there's two of them now," she exclaimed.

Commerce student Nick was brought to tears after his makeover was revealed to his mum.

The loud larrikin of the group, the 19-year-old commerce student was lost for words when he saw himself in the mirror for the first time.

"It felt great having five beautiful women yelling about how good I look. I've never felt anything like that before," he said.

"I didn't know I could look this good."

Dungeon master Alexander, 19, walked with a new swagger thanks to his new look.

"Far out, I feel awesome," he said.

"I honestly didn't know I could look like this and I just feel awesome."

Beauty Chrystal clearly approved of her new beau James's new look, which saw him ditch his facial hair.

"Now I kind of feel like I resemble the man she saw all along," he said.

The lovebirds were eliminated at the end of tonight's episode but Tate offered to use some of his $5000 modelling contract winnings to pay for plane tickets to reunite the pair since Chrystal lives in the US.

In a twist, the couple will return next week with the other eliminated teams to compete for one spot back in the competition.
