G20 drama unfolds as F18s scrambled, man captured

TWO F18 fighter jets were scrambled to Bribie Island this morning as a Customs vessel circled an unknown boat in Moreton Bay. 

The Australian News Network is reporting that the boat has since been declared 'no threat' though we've yet to see official word from the Defence Force or Customs.

News Ltd is also reporting a police Cessna is circling Brisbane CBD.

A man was detained by a group of police outside Barack Obama's hotel. 

Journalist Jason Tin reported Police were photographing several objects on the ground as they questioned the man on location. 

Police expect today to be less eventful in terms of official protests.
