Funds boost for Withcott soccer

THE Withcott Soccer Club has received a massive boost for this season.

As part of the Queensland Government's Flood Fightback Plan, the club received a cheque for $72,500 to help the club get back on its feet.

Out of that money $60,000 was assigned for ground repair and resurfacing while the remainder of the money was allocated to replace training and playing equipment.

The club is still looking for players to fill the under-12, 13 and 14/15 sides and anyone interested should contact the club.

Season fee is $145.
