French wield the selection axe in bid to win Test

FRANCE hopes to reverse last Saturday night's 50-23 thrashing by the Wallabies after making wholesale changes for the second Test in Melbourne tomorrow night.

The tourists have made 10 changes, including the return of inspirational captain Thierry Dusautoir (pictured). His inclusion was no surprise following his late arrival in Australia due to commitments back in France.

The same applies for uncapped prop Alexandre Menini, five-eighth Remi Tales, centre Mathieu

Bastareaud and fullback Brice Dulin.

But the axe was wielded, with Les Bleus coach

Phillippe Saint-Andre changing both prop forwards.

Rabah Slimani has been promoted from the bench, with Thomas Domingo and Nicolas Mas both dumped to the reserves.

Guilhem Guirado, Yoann Maestri, Damien Chouly, Wesley Fofana and Yoann Huget were the only starting players to retain their places for the second Test.
