A SYDNEY high school student and his three brothers have emerged in Syria as members of terror group the Islamic State.

Taha El Baf, 17, and his older brothers told family they were going to Thailand for a holiday but secretly left to join IS rebels in the Middle East.

Their father, Issam "Sam" El Baf, went to the media to beg his sons to come home.

"Come home, we want to see them and hug them," he told The Daily Telegraph.

"We couldn't believe it ourselves. Our kids, they wouldn't even play in the street."
